Job Purpose:
Optimizes operational results by studying currentoperations; identifying process improvement opportunities;developing analytical models; supporting process improvementprograms.
Duties:
Assesses adequacy of current operations byidentifying and analyzing business requirements and operations;conducting performance studies; interviewing and conferring withoperations personnel. Determines performance measures byidentifying key business metrics; conducting benchmarkinginitiatives; developing and calibrating analytical, estimating,forecasting, financial, and operational models. Identifiesopportunities for operational improvements by analyzing currentoperations; preparing cost/benefit analyses; developing businesscases; recommending process improvement priorities. Supportsprocess improvement programs by providing continuing measurements,analyses, and recommendations; developing new business models;identifying low-cost designs, materials, processes, and sources;evaluating new technologies. Maintains operations guidelines bywriting and updating policies and procedures. Prepares operationsperformance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing dataand trends. Maintains organization’s advantage by keepinginformation confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating ineducational opportunities; reading professional publications;maintaining personal networks; participating in professionalorganizations. Enhances department and organization reputation byaccepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests,exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills/Qualifications:

B.S. in business administration,project management or a related field. 3 years of experience inproject management Strong data analytical skills that have improvedand optimized project-based processes
