We are dedicated to diversity, sustainability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of our business. We are seeking a Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager for our new mill. The Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will provide process engineering oversight for the entire manufacturing process, reliability to improve quality, increase production and yield, and eliminate waste. The Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager is responsible for working with team members at all levels to capture strategic value opportunities and implementing operating practices to improve the mill’s overall competitive position. The Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will be responsible for: Supervise and support value creation and production efforts by analyzing process performance and developing key metrics. Ensure mill optimization parameters are set to maximize value creation and promote continuous safety improvement. Develop and report performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and track success. Troubleshoot equipment issues and continuously evaluate machine performance. Implement recovery control measures to minimize fiber loss and improve mill flow and machine execution. Provide technical assistance to optimization systems and manage QC processes to prevent quality issues. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and track process improvement projects. Interface with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues and stay current with new technologies and best practices. The Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or economics. Prior lumber manufacturing experience in a leadership technical/process optimization role. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
