The Process Analyst will support the bank operations department in managing relationships with both new and existing bank clients, including fintech and banking clients. This role involves utilizing technology to enhance process efficiencies, ensuring data integrity, and supporting organizational growth while maintaining regulatory compliance. The analyst will assist in structuring operational resources, documenting procedures, and advising on best practices to optimize bank operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with both business and IT teams to establish requirements for new and existing projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies and meeting business objectives. Analyze and recommend solutions for improving operational efficiency, controlling expenses, and managing vendor relationships for key operational functions. Define use cases and effectively communicate requirements to both internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with third-party service providers and operational teams to understand their information needs and challenges, ensuring developed solutions are aligned with their requirements. Serve as the end-user representative to ensure practical and efficient solutions are delivered. Participate in regulatory and internal audits, ensuring that business processes comply with relevant regulations. Evaluate and streamline communication channels between clients, merchants, and end-users to enhance the overall client experience and maintain operational efficiency. Identify and mitigate potential risks, losses, and impacts during system changes, onboarding, or conversions, ensuring smooth transitions for all involved parties. Provide ongoing support and consultation to management, identifying and addressing issues or needs throughout the client lifecycle. Regularly assess systems and operational relationships for compliance with standards and regulations, addressing potential issues with the Compliance Officer. Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and proactively contribute to process enhancement initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in defining policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payment systems or the financial services industry is preferred. Familiarity with banking systems such as ACH, Wires, Deposit, and Card services is preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and basic IT skills.
