The Director of Process & Efficiency leads the Bank’s efforts in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement across the organization. This position is a strategic change leader with a proven record in process innovation and continuous improvement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop and implement process improvement strategies across the organization Build and lead a high-performing team dedicated to process improvement Responsible for providing ongoing feedback, mentoring and professional development of team members to include annual performance reviews Enhance existing process for intake, tracking, and prioritizing improvement projects. Mentor staff in fostering a continuous improvement culture Collaborate with team members and business units to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities Lead initiatives in process mapping, review, and improvement Oversee the deployment of new processes and functions Target Key Measurables for tracking success of improvements made Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional associations Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Process Design, or related field 5 years of previous experience in process-driven role 3 years of previous supervisory experience Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), or other relevant certifications Experience in banking or financial services industry Proficiency in Robotic Process Automation tools (Fortra, UiPath, etc.) Proficiency in mapping tools (Visio, Lucid, etc.) Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Outstanding communication and people skill Project management software (SmartSheet, Monday, etc.).
