After-School Program – Club Wildcat Site Coordinator

EVALUATION
JOB GOAL:
To assist with overseeing the daily operations and activities of Club Wildcat (K-6) After-School program. To assist with training, scheduling, and planning program enrichment curriculum for all K-6 After-School students. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with after-school staff, parents, community partners. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in education or similar field of study preferred; but not required. Experience in early childhood education is preferred. Prior experience in an after-school program or education setting preferred. Leadership experience in an after-school program preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Be organized and self-motivated. Responsible for assuring high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and their families. Maintain an inviting, orderly and fun environment for learning. Provide day-to-day hands on assistance to after-school staff and students. Lead and/or assist Club Wildcat Teachers & Assistants with enrichment activities. Coordinate and schedule curriculum, as much as possible, that meets the individual needs, interest, and abilities of students. Knowledgeable and usage of technology. Encourages community support, donations and/or resources to help enrich and/or sustain special activities. Interact positively with parents and assist with day-to-day questions. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering of necessary supplies/materials. Assist with training staff on required safety procedures and protocols. Assist with student enrollment information and attendance records. Knowledge and usage of Parent Square and Social Media. Maintain records of student attendance, payments and invoicing of CW services. Attend activities and/or field trips as necessary that involves Club Wildcat students. Follow board policy and procedures set forth by Scottsboro City Schools Board of Education. Follow Scottsboro City Schools Code of Conduct with respect to student disciplinary procedures. Maintain confidentiality requirements as outlined in board policy and employee handbook. Participates in professional development meetings, trainings and in-service activities. Assist with daily afternoon after-school snack, clean up and meet required guidelines and reporting set forth by smart snack standards. Cooperates with other program staff to create and maintain a harmonious and efficient environment. Ensure proper end of day closing procedures are performed and facility is clean, safe and secure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals. Punctuality, flexibility and regular attendance. Perform any other duties as assigned.
