THE ROLE THE ROLE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Check the server and house person’s BEOs to ensure all information is accurate. Set rooms, buffets, and tables according to BEO specifications and Supervisor instructions. Check electrical hook-ups. for proper working order, tape down all exposed cords for equipment in use. Perform all guest contact activities or guest requests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to excellence. Ensure that all storerooms are clean, organized, and secured. Assist in equipment inventory as scheduled. Attend staff set-up and technical training on a regular basis. Organize Banquet Hall to ensure a productive, safe, and energy-conserving work environment. Ensure proper maintenance (cleaning and repair) of all equipment. Ensure that all unused rooms are set to the department’s standards. Constantly communicate all concerns to the Banquet Manager Assist the servers during service by responding to their requests; notify the supervisor immediately of any difficulties. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow associates in all departments. Enforce all safety and sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
