[]{#docs-internal-guid-f4e7d5c3-7fff-fe2e-6387-ef69cf8332cc}A Materials Operations Manager is needed in Auburn, Alabama.[]{#docs-internal-guid-f4e7d5c3-7fff-fe2e-6387-ef69cf8332cc}Job duties[]{#docs-internal-guid-f4e7d5c3-7fff-fe2e-6387-ef69cf8332cc}Plan and direct daily operations in materials management for manufacturing of automotive parts such as front and rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and crossgrove joint for propeller shaft. Oversee general operations of materials and inventory management process including inbound materials inspection, warehouse compliance, inventorymanagement by evaluating overall management process. Direct administrative activities of the materials management and perform personnel management functions such as hiring,training, and evaluation. Establish short-term and long-term objectives, goals, policies, and standards in materials management and oversee implementation. Participate in managerialmeetings to communicate potential issues regarding materials activities and coordinate implementation of overall corporate/departmental objectives and policies within the department.

Review and approve budget proposal for each team and allocate the funds accordingly. Oversee suppliers performance in providing materials to ensure materials are provided as neededwithin the limited budget.
