OVERVIEW
An established company with a strong presence in the U.S. market is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Plating Operations Manager. This role will be based in Auburn, AL and will oversee the daily operations of the plating department with a focus on safety, production, and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in production planning, scheduling, and supervising a team of 12 employees. This is a day shift position with the opportunity for growth and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate daily scheduling and optimize personnel utilization Ensure controls over the plating chemical process are maintained Supervise electroplating activities and quality inspections Implement corrective actions for process optimization Coordinate continuous improvement projects and quality system requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a chemical-related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of plating supervision experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of production plating processes and quality control Experience with automation and chemical lab supervision
