Part-time 21 st Century Community Learning Center District Coordinator Supervised by/Reports to:

Exempt Job Goal:

Assist the District Grant Writer in the management and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the district’s 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education required, Master’s Degree in Educational Administration preferred. Three years experience as classroom teacher required. Prior experience in supervising an after school program required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals of diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds.

Performance Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Responsible for assuring high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and their families and providing sufficient communication. Ensures all 21st CCLC site staff and programmatic activities comply with school district and 21st CCLC Grant Program rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Assist the 21st CCLC site coordinators and district grant writer in maintaining accurate, complete and current financial records. Assist the 21st CCLC site coordinators and district grant writer in required data collection and analysis. Assist 21st CCLC staff in coordinating required parent and family events. Assist the 21st CCLC site coordinators and district grant writer in establishing, maintaining and strengthening required community partnerships. Meets with 21st CCLC staff and principal to discuss student needs and program compliance. Attend all required meetings/training. Assists 21st CCLC site coordinator and grant writer in coordinating required professional development for 21st CCLC staff. Ensure program activities align with the goals, strategies and activities outlined in the 21st CCLC Grant application. Assist the district grant writer in program budgeting, data collection and analysis, program evaluation, submitting annual and other required reports. Assist the grant writer and 21st CCLC site coordinators in maintaining up-to-date required grant related documentation. Work closely with and communicate in a timely manner with school principal and district level coordinators/directors/departments. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to finger, to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, crouch and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull carry and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses. Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy.
