Essential Functions Provide strategic direction of all operational matters to drive revenue growth and profitability Hire, discipline, evaluate, manage, and mentor staff Coordinate hiring & recruiting needs Oversee the entire operations for assigned area Accountable for all product delivery Enforce company policies Manage service levels for each location Responsible for terminal P&L’s. Review profit and loss with terminal managers, guide them on improving profit; cost control Accountable for driver scheduling and truck utilization; right size fleet Assist, support, and direct managers in the completion of their tasks Identify and develop new leadership for succession planning TMW/EDI and other load tender system monitoring Wash Bay policy & procedure monitoring for each location Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent business experience 5 years of experience as terminal manager; experience in transportation 8 years of operations experience in transportation Effective organizational and communication skills Frequent travel may be required
