Field Coordinator Job Description The Field Coordinator will play a pivotal role in monitoring daily reports and reviewing submittal packages. This position involves recruiting, hiring, and onboarding field staff, and managing scheduling and overseeing day-to-day field operations. Initially, experienced workers will assist in training and onboarding new staff, with the Field Coordinator gradually taking full responsibility for the team and projects under contract. Responsibilities Monitor daily reports and review submittal packages. Recruit, hire, and onboard field staff. Manage the scheduling of work and oversee daily field operations. Transition the team by deploying experienced workers to train and onboard new staff. Gradually take full responsibility for the new team and contracted work. Essential Skills Proven experience in construction management, installation, and project management. Degree in a relevant field is preferred. Supervisory experience is required. Experience from a framing contractor, roofing, waterproofing, or concrete industry is beneficial. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to recruit and build your own crew. Experience overseeing jobs in North Alabama. Work Environment The Field Coordinator will oversee about 12 people onsite, conducting three-week lookaheads with the general contractor.
