• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
• Duties
• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Supervise staff across various departments, providing training and support to enhance performance.
• Conduct night audits as necessary, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
• Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, and employee evaluations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to create strategies for maximizing revenue and minimizing costs.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in hospitality management.
• Requirements
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Knowledge of night audit processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospitality management software is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred but not required.
