Operations / Production Manager (Accelerated DevelopmentProgram)Michelin is hiring•-The OpportunityAsan Operations / Production Manager, you will guarantee and drivethe collective performance of the workshop to achieve importantperformance goals in safety, machine availability, quality,delivery and cost established with the Plant Management Team. Youwill manage and mentor salaried personnel and have indirect wagereports of up to 250 reports that have responsibility for meetingsafety, quality and delivery targets within theworkshop.
Furthermore, the position will be part of an accelerateddevelopment program with a goal of positioning the new leader torapidly gain experience and grow quickly within the organization.
We are expecting this new passionate leader to gain experience andpromote into higher level operations roles within the company.
Therefore, we need this person to be relocatable at any time tomost of our US locations. You may also have the opportunity to takepart in a global rotation assignment for a short time fordevelopment within Group Michelin.

What You Will Do:
Manage a team of up to 250 indirect reports with supportingsalaried support staff in a manufacturing facility in a 24hour/day, 7 day/week operation Monitor and manage daily performance and set mid/long termstrategic direction in line with company objectives Establish and lead the cost control budget Mentor team and promote employee development and workresponsibilities Demonstrate passion for continuous improvement in safety,production, compliance, maintenance, housekeeping, employeedevelopment/mentorship Provide team communication on company, plant, and departmentbusiness plan objectives and performance
What You Will Bring:
Bachelors Degree is required. An MBA is helpful At least 5 to 10 years of progressive management responsibilityin a manufacturing, military or other fast paced environment. Demonstrated leadership presence, maturity and the ability toinfluence whole organizations The ability to learn quickly Outstanding judgment and ability to make sound decisions in afast-paced, dynamic setting. Analytical problem-solving skills with an outstanding attentionto detail Strategic vision with the ability to implement Impeccable leadership skills with the ability to empower andinfluence others positively.
