Deposit Operations Manager Smackover State Bank Smackover, AR 71762 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deposit Operations Manager to join our growing team. This person will work closely with the head of our deposit operations department to help ensure the efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ability to work well in a group setting, ability to train and manage a team, and a comprehensive understanding of deposit operations process. This role is essential in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily deposit operations with coordination from the Senior Operations Manager to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency. Manage and schedule all supervising tellers, new accounts, and teller team members, while promptly addressing issues and concerns. Develop and maintain an efficient and consistent training program for new team members and continuing training for current team members, ensuring compliance with regulations, bank policies, and operational procedures while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Promote an exceptional customer care experience. Resolve complex customer issues escalated from frontline staff. Provide support for new product implementation and system upgrades. Reconcile and review general ledger accounts related to deposit operations. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and coordinate to implement necessary changes. Skills Proficient understanding of bank deposit operations. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Effective cash management abilities. Ability to lead a team. Strong relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
