Adecco is assisting a local client in filling a direct hire Site Operations Manager in East Hartford, CT. This is a 1st Shift opportunity working 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with availability on some nights and weekends as needed.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with strong experience in KPI tracking, sales and marketing operations, inventory management, and cross-functional leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and maintaining key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site leadership to a team of ~30 employees, including direct management of ~5 team leads or supervisors
Manage daily site operations with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, andpliance within a federally regulated environment
Own and optimize a $65M spend portfolio, driving cost efficiencies and performance improvements
Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational, inventory, and sales performance
Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to support business development efforts and customer satisfaction
Oversee inventory and materials management, ensuring accuracy, availability, and security in alignment with defense contractor expectations
Lead internal meetings and represent the site in cross-functional and customer-facing meetings
Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate terms to support operational needs
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, team development, and accountability
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in operations, distribution, or site management (experience in a regulated industry preferred)
Proven leadership experience managing medium-sized teams (20+ employees), including multiple direct reports
Strong understanding of KPI development, tracking, and reporting
Familiarity with sales, marketing operations, and customer relationship management
Solid experience with inventory management and vendor coordination
Excellentmunication skills with the ability to interface with internal teams, external partners, and clients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
Preferred
Experience in or exposure to federal defense contractor operations or supply chains
Proficiency with ERP systems and data analytics tools

Pay Details:

$80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
