Job Description Job Description Job Description The Supervisor,Operations I ensures all Service Center Operations work isperformed according to approved Company procedures, standards, andspecification. This position supervises all activities of ServiceCenter employees and support personnel engaged in loading andunloading activities. Responsibilities
- Provide training,performance feedback, and disciplinary recommendations, as needed
- Assign job tasks to workers according to unloading and loadingschedules.

- Plan, supervise, and control available resourcesassociated with the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloadingof freight on assigned shifts.
- Maintain a positive attitude in ahighly intense environment.
- Provide a clean, safe workingenvironment for all personnel and visiting customers.
- Coordinatework assignments, and monitor performances.
- Other duties andprojects, as assigned.
- Maintain appropriate load plans, andensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
- Work in ateam setting to accomplish department goals.
- Foster safehandling, loading, unloading, and storage of hazardous materials.
Requirements Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred Experience
- 2 years Service Center, transportation, and/or relatedexperience, preferred
- Supervisory experience, preferred
ComputerSkills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
AdditionalRequirements:
- General knowledge of freight, imports, exports, andproper freight handling techniques, preferred
- Shift days andhours required for this position vary by location and may includedays, nights, and/or weekends.
Being able to work the requiredhours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.

Compensation:
- This is a salary positionpaid biweekly.
- Variable compensation is included.
