Job Description
Lead daily operations across chemical handling, packaging, scheduling, and shipping
Supervise a team of 30-40 employees and oversee all aspects of production efficiency and safety
Implement and enforce OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards
Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase throughput and reduce waste
Manage raw materials, packaging inventory, and production planning
Conduct audits and implement corrective actions for quality and safety issues
Use KPIs and operational data to monitor and improve performance metrics
Train team members on best practices in safety, quality, and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment and process upgrades
Report to the Site General Manager and contribute to strategic planning
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in operations management in a chemical or industrial environment
Proven experience working with hazardous chemicals and strict safety compliance
Strong leadership background with experience managing 30+ direct reports
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., D365) and inventory tracking tools
Strong communication, process improvement, and analytical skills
Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulatory requirements
