Project Canis helps cats and dogs in Florida shelters by making and donating pet toys made from recycled materials. We are looking for an Operations Manager to volunteer a few hours a week to oversee our toy donations. We expect this role to take 2-4 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Check our PO box on 34th Street biweekly
- Track all of our toy donations in a spreadsheet
- Mail toy donations to shelters every month
- Send thank you letters to each toy donor
Qualifications:
- At least a second-year student pursuing a degree in a related field
- Have a car to drive to the post office
- Reside in Gainesville for this upcoming year
- Can commitment to 2-4 hours a week of responsibility
- Can attend virtual monthly meetings
- Passion for animals and sustainability
- Hardworking, self-disciplined, and entrepreneurial
- Able to work well on a team
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
