Status/Exempt General Function Directly assist the Director of Operations in providing recommendations for multiple operations programs supporting the Air Force Forces (AFFOR) staff, Air Operations Center (AOC), Air Defense Sectors (ADS), and Continental United States (CONUS) fighter units supporting

(ONE), and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) assigned missions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide operational planning and GFM support for operations, exercises, and humanitarian/disaster relief missions assigned to the AFFOR. Support the Operations Directorate as a project manager for specific assigned tasks. The contractor shall develop and coordinate concepts for inclusion into Air Force, jointservices, or combined operations policies, ensuring operations policies are designed to maximize the effectiveness of air component operations in support of combatant commander’s missions; coordinate operations policy actions to facilitate issue resolution and ensure timely completion. The contractor shall draft Concept of Operations (CONOPS), warning orders, operations orders, execute orders and requests for forces for the Director, Air, Space, and Information Operations. The Contractor shall develop, coordinate, and submit requests for forces required to Skills/Abilities Subject Matter Expertise on joint service doctrine and service polices, directive and procedures. Understand the operations planning process in accordance with HAF, MAJCOM, and joint service policies, directives, and procedures. High degree of technical and research Extensive knowledge of Information technology, standard office automation software, and information security. Ability and experience working in classified environments with sensitive Ability to work with senior military leaders in a fast paced, high stress Ability to flex work schedule to accommodate ate mission Top Secret Level Security clearance Minimum Experience 8 years’ experience with military doctrine and planning functions 8 years’ experience with air defense systems plannings integration and operations 4 years’ experience in a Headquarters or as a Major Command Staff action officer Extensive knowledge of Global Force Management Minimum of 4 years additional related experiences Required Contacts SysCom staff executives and management Serves as liaison between department and other departments as well as with outside customers regulatory personnel and organizations
