Job Description
Director of Operations Hovis and Box Corporate Titusville, FL 32780 The Director of Operations in a childcare organization is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or multiple childcare centers. This person ensures compliance with licensing regulations, supports center directors, manages budgets, and drives strategic goals related to enrollment, staff performance, and educational quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support Center Directors and site-level management teams. Ensure compliance with state and local childcare regulations and safety standards. Develop and manage operational budgets across centers. Implement and monitor organizational policies, programs, and educational standards.
Oversee staffing processes:
hiring, training, evaluations, and professional development. Address parent and community concerns at a regional or organizational level. Analyze enrollment trends and financial performance; propose improvements. Lead initiatives for growth, quality improvement, and accreditation.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in childcare management or operations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of state childcare regulations (e.g., licensing, ratios, health & safety). Experience with budgeting, staff development, and program evaluation.
