for this location. To be eligible for hire, potential employees: Must have at least TWO years of child care / after school care experience working hands-on with children, families and staff. A valid Directors Credential Must be Bilingual for this location. Must have strong communication skills Must uphold a professional appearance Must have the ability to plan activities for school age children Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Broward County Early Release Days. Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to provide a copy Must clear a federal and local background check (School Board and Federal Fingerprinting) Must HAVE 45 hours of Child Care Courses / Training within 1 year of employment Must complete CPR / First Aid Training with Sunshine within 30 days of employment Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English Language Must have reliable transportation Must be a TEAM player and enjoy working with children.
