We are a leading provider of heavy equipment parts and services, specializing in dragline and large-scale machinery. Our team is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence across every jobsite. We are looking for a seasoned Service Manager to lead our field service department and oversee day-to-day shop operations.

Position Summary:

The Service Manager will be responsible for managing field service operations, coordinating workforce and equipment needs, and ensuring timely completion of service projects. This role will also support parts sales and inventory. A strong background in dragline and heavy equipment parts, as well as proven leadership in field and shop environments, is a must. You will be the primary point of contact between field operations and senior management, ensuring communication, compliance, and jobsite safety standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the field and shop service departments. Maintain communication with senior management regarding jobsite activities, performance, and needs. Plan and sequence work schedules, determining manpower, parts, and equipment requirements. Provide support to the Parts Manager, including parts sales and inventory management. Monitor employee productivity and work quality to ensure projects stay on schedule. Support compliance with internal and external record-keeping standards, with particular focus on accurate labor tracking and coding. Oversee jobsite and warehouse safety, ensuring

OSHA/MSHA

compliance and maintaining required records. Conduct daily jobsite and warehouse walkthroughs to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards. Promote and enforce a safety-first culture across all work environments.

Qualifications:

Several years of experience managing field service operations in a heavy equipment or dragline-related industry. Strong understanding of dragline and heavy equipment parts and repair procedures. Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize workloads, and deliver results in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of

OSHA/MSHA

regulations and safety procedures. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with job costing, scheduling, and productivity tracking is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
