The Director of Nursing & Business Operations will play a pivotal role in ensuring the satisfaction of patients and their families, collaborating closely with the office and care staff to maintain high standards of caregiving. This role offers an RN an opportunity to leverage their clinical expertise while running highly successful office operations. This position offers medical, dental, vision and a competitive salary package. Schedule would be Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4:30p with additional on-call hours.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Manage Office Staff:

Gain trust and confidence from other office team members, mentoring them to achieve greatness.

Caregiver Training:

Develop and conduct comprehensive training programs for caregiving staff, both in-house and in the field, emphasizing best practices in patient care. Expertise in

Agency Services:

Possess comprehensive knowledge of the agency’s service lines, service fees, and client base to ensure informed decision-making and effective communication with stakeholders.

Assessments and Supervisory Visits:

Perform assessments and regular supervisory visits to maintain quality care, assess patient needs, and offer guidance to care staff.

Case Management:

Oversee all cases to guarantee compliance with regulations, company standards, and maintain a high level of care quality.

Weekly Activity Planning:

Strategically pre-plan weekly activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and staff to meet patient needs.

Documentation and Coordination:

Maintain accurate written documentation of all activities and coordinate effectively with office staff to ensure seamless follow-up and execution of plans.

Continuing Education:

Engage in continuous learning opportunities within the healthcare industry to stay updated with best practices and industry trends.

Community Representation:

Act as a representative of the agency at community functions and professional organizations, fostering relationships and promoting the agency’s services.

Patient and Family Communication:

Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and their families to ensure comprehensive understanding of patient health and care plans.

Procedural Implementation:

Lead the implementation of new procedures and conduct training sessions for caregivers to ensure adherence to updated protocols. Qualifications and Skills of Director of Nursing & Business Operations – Home Care RN with “Right at Home”: Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of five years’ experience in home care or a related field, with a demonstrable track record of leadership for at least three years. Creative, self-motivated individual with a compassionate and helpful demeanor. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional problem-solving abilities. Possession of a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle. .
