SUMMARY The Operations Performance Manager plays a vital role in driving performance across the operations network by ensuring alignment with key process, quality, and continuous improvement systems—including Lean, Six Sigma, and Quality Management frameworks. This role transforms data into actionable insights, enabling strategic decision-making and operational consistency. By bridging site-level execution with broader business objectives, this position will have a strong role in fostering a culture rooted in efficiency, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Align operational performance disciplines with broader business and account strategies. Support the execution of operational excellence programs and management systems across single or multi-site environments. Analyze and communicate operational performance and quality improvement metrics across all levels of the organization. Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and drive improvements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for underperforming areas. Monitor labor efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities by analyzing operational impacts and advising leadership on corrective actions. Use data to reinforce the value of labor optimization and its impact on the P&L. Champion Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to identify waste, streamline processes, and improve quality. Lead Kaizen events, process mapping, and other CI activities to drive measurable improvements. Collaborate with the Operational Leadership teams to develop and implement SOPs, conduct site assessments, and develop and rollout improvement programs. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. Manage internal initiatives related to performance, system enhancements, and process optimization. Ensure timely execution of projects with clear metrics and deliverables. Coach site leaders and managers to improve operational capability and drive performance culture. Communicate performance expectations and results clearly across the organization. Lead associate education efforts on how their roles contribute to operational success and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline required. Master’s Degree preferred. Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation or supply-chain related field. Lean/Six Sigma certification required (Green Belt or higher).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Operational Expertise
- Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain processes, including labor planning and resource optimization. Continuous Improvement
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and quality management principles to drive process efficiency and eliminate waste. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and performance metrics to inform strategic and tactical decisions. Advanced Excel & Analytical Tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and similar tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data analysis and reporting. Project Management
- Skilled in leading cross-functional initiatives with clear goals, timelines, and measurable outcomes. Communication & Influence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Coaching & Leadership Development

Travel:
Ability to travel within the United States up to 40% of the time.
