POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Farm Operations will oversee all aspects of equipment maintenance, farm management, and operational coordination across multiple locations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a hands-on approach to ensure efficiency in farming practices, equipment upkeep, grower relations, and compliance management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment & Fleet Management:
Oversee maintenance schedules, records, and parts inventories in Clewiston shop(s) via fleet managers for: Tractors and implements Harvesters Water pumps Vehicles Ensure timely servicing and repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
Grower Relations & Land Management:
Serve as the primary liaison for outside growers farming on company land. Address and coordinate any farming needs, including water pump issues, land allocation, and land care.
Budget & Financial Management:
Assist in developing and managing capital, fixed, and variable budgets related to maintenance, equipment, and farm operations. Support farm budget planning as needed.
Compliance & Housing Management:
Oversee farmworker housing, cleanliness, and general compliance standards. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and agricultural regulations.
Regional Farm Oversight:
Develop the capability to oversee farm operations across Clewiston, Okeechobee, Delray, and Fort Pierce. Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Additional Duties:
Provide operational support and handle additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive experience in farm operations, preferably in fresh produce. Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, farm budgeting, and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate with growers. Ability to manage multiple farm locations and adapt to evolving operational needs. Proficiency in agricultural management software and inventory tracking systems is a plus.
