Job Description

Auto Dealership Operations Manager Confidential Tampa, FL 33602 What we do: We provide world class customer service to guests at our auto dealership accounts. What the ideal candidate will do: (Duties to include but not limited to) Managing crews from 20 – 30 Recruit, hire, train, and schedule employees (HR support) Budget responsibilities Account performance Guest & Client satisfaction Complete and submit accurate and timely weekly reports as required Develop new procedures to enhance daily operations Track inventory supplies Responsible for conducting field and site audits Set and achieve quarterly goals based on upper management expectations Maintain cooperative working relationships with all necessary departments Coordinate with all relevant departments for daily and weekly meetings Continuously focus on revenue improvement Develop and maintain existing client relationships

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must have a flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays to meet operational needs but ideally working Tuesday- Saturday 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6am-7pm 3-5 years of management experience preferably in a hospitality or a service-related industry Experience supervising 20 or more front line employees Advanced problem-solving skills with initiative to investigate, analyze and resolve issues Strong computer skills required, including MS Word and Excel Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal as well as effectively addressing all levels of the organization Ability to work independently, in a team and meet deadlines, self-starter Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties Experience in developing and managing budgets Excellent leadership skills Strong attention to detail Must be able to effectively plan, set priorities and manage several complex projects simultaneously Must have great work ethics, drive, energy and persistence to achieve goals while working under pressure to meet deadlines Position requires standing and walking for long periods of time Identify all existing and potential operational deficiencies and make appropriate recommendations to Senior Leadership and clients. Inspect and recommend improvements to streamline operations and maximize financial performance. Plan and direct special event activities, coordinating with all staff, other managers and directors as required. Ensure the accuracy and compliance of company time and attendance policies and payroll processes. Conduct daily shift briefings, weekly manager/supervisory and staff meetings to ensure a consistent and effective flow of information. Ensure that parking areas/structures are clean, in good appearance, and maintained for the safe, efficient movement of all vehicles and pedestrians. Enhances the company and client’s brand by providing high levels of professionalism and experience supporting the current and future customer base. Must be detail-oriented and extremely well organized

License Requirement:

Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license Must pass a nationwide criminal background check Must have a clean driving record (less than 6 points in the last 3 years-MVR is required) Basic mathematical and reasoning skills and aptitude Strong sense of vehicle and personal safety standards Must be able to work outdoors during all seasons and stand for long periods of time Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment Must have reliable mode of transportation Management or a related field experience required
