The Duty Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities of specific operation including staff, scheduling time sheets and reporting to clients. What does a Duty Manager do? Care for all pertinent job duties related to the duty manager role as well as other duties of subordinate employees when necessary Require familiarity of pertinent regulations Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Department Manager Monitor employee activity and makes adjustments as needed Make sure employees follow all regulations/procedures Check in and out sheets to insure all employees have logged in times correctly On call 24 hours per day Report inquiries and other major incidents to Department Managers. Perform other duties as requested Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) Implement safety plan for station Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary What skills are required to Join the Team? Must be 18 years or older Some supervisory/management in shift work environment experience necessary. Have State Security Officer license where applicable. Must have reliable telephone and transportation. Must be able to verbally direct in English. Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) Be able to resolve problem situations with passengers when necessary Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history. Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation All applicants must consent to and pass a drug test as part of a conditional job offer. –

REQUIRED Language Skills:
