This role will plug into ongoing lean/Six Sigma initiatives—helping us document, improve, and scale processes so work gets done better, faster, and with fewer errors. What You’ll Tackle Day‑to‑Day Primary Area and Key Action s Project & Task Coordination Build and maintain simple project plans or Kanban boards.

  • Track deadlines, budgets, and action items—flagging issues early.

Process Documentation & Development Interview team members, map workflows, and turn tribal knowledge into clear SOPs that others can follow. Co‑develop new or revised processes with guidance and feedback from the Operations Manager. Continuous‑Improvement Support Assist with quick Kaizen events and Six Sigma DMAIC activities (training provided). Collect data, calculate basic metrics, and package findings for review.

Vendor / Supplier

Liaison

  • Keep vendor info current in our ERP/PM tools.
  • Schedule check‑ins, log performance‑scorecard data, and chase open items.

Tech Adoption & Admin Systems Test and roll out new SaaS tools (PM, forms, dashboards). Troubleshoot user questions and draft “how‑to” guides. General Ops Support & Ad‑Hoc Tasks Handle purchase‑order entry, simple reporting, meeting logistics, or any other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager. Jump into special assignments when priorities shift—flexibility is key. Must‑Have Qualities & Skills Flexibility & Curiosity

Minimum Requirements 1‑3 years in operations, admin support, project coordination, or similar. Comfortable with spreadsheets (pivot tables), cloud PM tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Notion, etc.). Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Business, Ops Mgmt, Industrial Engineering, or comparable experience. Nice‑to‑Haves Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt or coursework. Experience documenting SOPs or building workflow diagrams (Lucidchart, Miro). Exposure to supplier portals, basic SQL/BI, or ISO/quality‑system support. What Success Looks Like (First 6‑12 Months) All core workflows for purchasing, vendor onboarding, and project tracking are mapped and living in a shareable SOP library. Cycle times for at least two high‑volume processes have dropped by 15 %+ thanks to your improvement work.
