Job Summary:

The Operations Guest Services Manager at Elev8 Fun is responsible for managing the daily operations of the entertainment center, with a specific focus on overseeing the Guest Services department. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service across all areas of the facility.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and leading guest services staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and addressing employee issues.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees across various departments, including guest services, attractions, and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable and adhere to company standards.
  • Train and mentor Guest Services staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and capable of providing high-quality service.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluation to staff, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Lead the Guest Services team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure positive guest experience. Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the entertainment center to ensure all attractions and facilities run smoothly.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high levels of service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficient operations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the guest.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring all guests receive high-quality service.
  • Develop and implement guest experience programs and initiatives to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Monitor guest feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct interactions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and management of operational budgets.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities and events.
  • Support sales initiatives to increase foot traffic and revenue, particularly in the guest services area.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive in the industry.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and innovation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure Elev8 Fun remains a leader in the entertainment sector.
  • Performs other assignments as requested.
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Extensive written and verbal communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
  • Ability to address and resolve issues between team member or with guests.
  • Able to understand and address guest needs and concern with a positive and supportive attitude.
  • Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth operations.
  • Can identify, develop, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Understands various departments and their interactions.
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures in a customer-focused environment.
  • Able to collaborate and work with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field or any significant relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of management experience in guest services, hospitality, or operations.
  • Experience managing a team, handling customer inquiries, and resolving complaints.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Experience with performance management and staff training.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing depending of the tasks handled. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds at times.

  • Able to see objects using peripheral, close, and distance vision to navigate the area, observe guests, and monitor operations.
  • Able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with staff and guests.
  • Able to move around including using the stairs, ramps, and uneven flooring.
