Senior-Level Role Salary:
Competitive (based on experience) We Make Footballers is on a mission to help 100,000 children fall in love with football by 2035—and we’re growing fast across the United States. We’re looking for a Head of Operations and Franchise Support – USA to lead the development of our franchise network and help drive performance, consistency, and growth across the country. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to both our USA Managing Director and Global Head of Operations (UK) . You’ll be responsible for coaching our franchisees, optimizing systems, ensuring compliance, and helping new locations launch successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchisee Coaching & Performance Support new and existing franchisees to meet their business and student growth goals Deliver onboarding and training programs for new franchise owners Lead performance reviews and action plans for underperforming locations Be the main point of contact for operational support across the US network Operational Oversight Ensure franchisees are delivering consistently to brand and operational standards Resolve day-to-day franchise issues and provide hands-on troubleshooting Improve and maintain the US operations manual and SOPs Systems & Process Development Identify inefficiencies and streamline franchise operations Lead digitization efforts using tools like Airtable, Zendesk, Thinkific, and AI Build scalable onboarding and support systems tailored to the US market Franchise Expansion & Launch Support Train and support new franchisees during the launch phase Localize and adapt materials to reflect the US youth sports market Assist with pricing, training content, and regional delivery strategy
Success Metrics:
80% of US franchisees on track within 6 months of onboarding 1,000+ active players reached in the US by end of Year 1
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
3+ years in operations, franchise support, or business coaching Experience working in youth sports, education, or coaching environments Strong organizational skills and comfort with digital systems and automation Confidence in holding franchisees accountable while building strong relationships Startup or scale-up experience with the ability to work independently and proactively
Bonus Points For:
A genuine love for football (soccer) and belief in its power to change lives Knowledge of the US youth sports industry or recreational coaching space Experience building scalable systems, SOPs, or training manuals
