This strategic and detail-oriented professional will manage development compliance and donor relations, ensuring the integrity and execution of annual giving strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of donor governance, legal reporting requirements, and nonprofit fundraising frameworks. Responsibilities Design and implement compliant annual fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and donor expectations. Ensure all fundraising initiatives meet applicable legal and ethical standards, including IRS, corporate giving, and donor privacy regulations. Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, legal partners, and philanthropic institutions. Collaborate with legal, finance, and marketing teams to ensure transparency, risk mitigation, and alignment with institutional messaging. Maintain documentation, agreements, and donor records in accordance with internal controls and external reporting requirements. Lead the tracking and reporting of fundraising performance, donor contracts, and regulatory obligations. Monitor evolving trends in philanthropic compliance and donor governance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, legal operations, or donor compliance. Strong knowledge of nonprofit legal and tax frameworks (501(c)(3), charitable solicitation laws, etc.). Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with fundraising software, legal databases, and Microsoft Office Suite. Required Work Hours Monday to Friday Benefits The position offers a competitive pay range from $28 to $33 per hour, with benefits to be discussed upon application.
