PositionOverview:

The legal Operations Manager plays a crucial role inoverseeing the efficient functioning of the operations team withinthe organization. Reporting directly to the Operations Director,the Operations Manager collaborates closely with other LegalOperations Managers, department heads, and supervisors to addressoperational challenges, refine processes, and ensure efficientday-to-day operations. This role is pivotal in enhancingproductivity, maintaining high service standards, and drivingoperational excellence aligned with company goals.

Operational Oversight:

Manage and coordinate daily operational activities within theassigned department or office to align with organizationalgoals. Optimize workflow, resource allocation, and scheduling toenhance efficiency and productivity. Analyze data and trends to forecast operational needs andensure effective resource management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying andresolving bottlenecks to improve operational performance.

Team Leadership and Development:

Provide leadership and guidance to office managers,supervisors, and employees, fostering a positive workenvironment. Support professional development and performance management,promoting continuous improvement.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Assist the Operations Director in developing and implementingstrategic initiatives for operational excellence and organizationalgrowth. Collaborate with senior management to align departmentalstrategies with company objectives.

Process Improvement:

Implement best practices and standards to maintain high servicequality and client satisfaction. Continuously identify areas for process improvement andimplement solutions to optimize operations.

Hiring and Staffing:

Oversee the hiring process for new team members, includingrecruitment, interviewing, and onboarding. Collaborate with HR and the Operations Director to definestaffing needs and evaluate candidates.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other operations managers to implementprocess changes and align with company policies andobjectives. Collaborate with HR, IT, marketing, legal, and otherdepartments to achieve operational goals and resolveissues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, OperationsManagement, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience (3+ years) in operations management,preferably within the legal or professional services industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams anddrive performance. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with theability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to evaluateprocesses and implement improvements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable ofbuilding relationships and collaborating effectively across alllevels of the organization.
