The Savoy Hotel is an iconic, beachfront boutique property in the heart of Miami Beach. With a vision to lead the next phase of luxury hospitality in Miami, we are building a high-performing, design-forward, and service-obsessed team. The Operations Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager and ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
Role Overview:
The Operations Assistant is a dynamic support role focused on driving efficiency, communication, and execution within the hotel’s daily operations. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. It’s ideal for someone who is process-oriented, solutions-driven, and passionate about the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in coordinating daily hotel operations Assist with scheduling, payroll inputs, and labor tracking across departments Maintain inventory logs and vendor order tracking for housekeeping, F&B, and supplies Ensure back-of-house areas are organized, stocked, and audit-ready Help oversee execution of brand standards and service SOPs Track and follow up on maintenance requests and vendor work orders Liaise with department heads for follow-ups, updates, and task completions Support with new hire onboarding, uniform coordination, and staff communication Prepare reports and assist with data entry for revenue, expenses, and budgets Assist with planning and execution of property events or activations
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in hotel operations or administrative support Strong organizational and communication skills Tech-savvy; proficiency with Microsoft Workspace, Excel, and scheduling platforms Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Proactive, trustworthy, and solution-oriented Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if needed
