JOB DESCRIPTION

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling of events, performances, rehearsals, and other activities within our live entertainment venues. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented leader who can efficiently coordinate complex schedules, balance competing priorities, and ensure seamless operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Schedule Management:

Develop and maintain the master schedule for all events, shows, rehearsals, and venue bookings. Coordinate with talent, production teams, and venue managers to align availability and confirm schedules. Ensure timely updates and distribution of schedules to all relevant parties. 2.

Resource Allocation:

Optimize the use of human and physical resources to avoid conflicts and maximize efficiency. Collaborate with departments such as logistics, technical, and operational teams to ensure resource availability. 3.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling queries and challenges. Communicate effectively with artists, managers, production crews, and internal teams to address schedule changes and conflicts. 4.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement scheduling processes and strategies to improve overall operational efficiency. Analyze past scheduling data to predict and solve potential issues. 5.

Conflict Resolution:

Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts and work collaboratively to resolve issues. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate last-minute changes and emergencies. 6.

Technology and Tools:

Utilize scheduling software and tools to manage and optimize schedules. Stay updated on industry trends and tools that can enhance scheduling efficiency. 7.

Reporting and Analysis:

Monitor and report on scheduling efficiency, resource utilization, and conflict resolution trends. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making.

PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in scheduling or operations management in the live entertainment industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in scheduling software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
