MIAMI, FL.

Hours will vary between 8am-6pm, M-F. This is not a remote position. The Payment Processing Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of the daily processing and packaging of complex remittance accounts in the Remittance Department. Receives and opens mail/check payments and stubs, and processes payments using our FLEXRPS (Remittance Processing System), according to client specifications; balances payment transactions and performs data entry for data analysis and billing purposes; utilizes automated mail opening equipment, computerized processing equipment, and various output mediums to process complex accounts according to client and departmental procedures; must have a strong working knowledge of remittance functions and equipment operations as well as at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees current Staff who receive, sort, open, and process remittance payment envelopes, including cash and non-cash items, by hand or use of automated equipment according to type of payment and client business specifications, examines contents of mail for correct information by following specific set of detailed instructions for opening mail and preparing payment information, may screen checks for acceptable payee, signature, foreign items, and correct amount and paid in full, determine processable and non-processable items; sorts mail by specific homeowner association. Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency Foster, support, and lead team-player environment Produces reports detailing payment information according to client specifications using on-line computer applications; reassociates customer work according to instructions preparing it for delivery by mail, courier or electronic means. Initiates “start of day” and “end of day” procedures which includes bringing up the necessary systems within FLEXRPS, transferring previous day remittance batches, verifying batches left in interactive processing. Initiates electronic bank deposits (ECL) and uploads accounting files. Uses Canon CR190i high speed imaging equipment to scan checks and documents into FLEXRPS Support Staff as workload dictates KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and

ABILITIES

Thorough knowledge of remittance and lockbox operations, and equipment i.e., Canon CR190i high volume scanner, OPEX 51 and Envelopener Proven Supervisor skills in fast-paced processing environment (please be prepared to provide 2-4 references) Strong analytical skills and very detail oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills Good organizational skills and ability to make decisions regarding sensitive processing procedures according to clients’ Business Processing Guidelines Good working knowledge of PC and MS Office Valid driver’s license Authorized to work in United States Ability to research, recognize and problem solve Ability to perform data capture (alpha/numeric) with 99% accuracy 10-key by touch (required) This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school, some college, and/or 3+ years’ experience in Lead and Supervisory Remittance Operations work environment. Salary will depend on experience.
