We operate one of the largest retail florist businesses in Los Angeles, with three company owned stores and are poised for significant expansion with several territories planned to open in 2025.
Position Overview:
French Florist is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Operations Manager who can make a lasting impact on operations in Miami, FL. This key leadership role will be responsible for assisting to open new stores, ensuring the productivity, quality of service, and operational efficiency of each French Florist location, reporting directly to and working routinely with the COO. The ideal candidate will be a proactive manager with a strong background in retail management, preferably within the floral industry. We are looking for someone who is driven by a passion for excellence, takes pride in their work, and is dedicated to creating positive and lasting experiences for both their team and customers. Additionally, this is not a remote position as the Regional Operations Manager will be required to work on-site and use their personal vehicle to travel once weekly to each of our locations in the Miami area. Travel costs will be reimbursed. Visiting each store weekly is essential to maintain consistency, address any issues promptly, and support your teams in delivering exceptional service across all locations. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:
Lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of floral designers, shop assistants, and drivers. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment across all shops. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback. Lead by example by upholding French Florist’s core values in all interactions and decisions. Inspire and motivate the team to achieve their best while maintaining a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. 2.
Shop Productivity:
Ensure each shop meets or exceeds productivity targets. Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and sales performance. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. 3.
Quality of Service:
Ensure high standards of product quality, timeliness, and customer interaction are maintained in all shops. Develop and implement quality control procedures. 4.
Logistics and Inventory Management:
Oversee the supply chain and logistics of all flowers and supplies. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts, ensuring fresh and available products. 5.
Process Development and Best Practices:
Develop and implement shop processes to enhance operational efficiency. Identify and implement best practices across all locations to ensure consistency and high standards. 6.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between shop locations and the COO. Communicate shop needs, challenges, and successes to the COO. Implement directives and strategic initiatives from upper management. Metrics for

Maximize the productivity of designers while maintaining high-quality standards. %

Maintain and enhance the reputation of each shop through excellent service, customer satisfaction, and community engagement.
Shop Cleanliness :
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in each shop.
Qualifications:
Based in Miami with reliable transportation (weekly trips to local stores). Minimum of 5 years managing multi-unit retail locations. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with floral operations experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly. Proficiency in inventory management and logistics.
