Full Job Description Role Summary:

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will lead daily operations and drive continuous improvement across warehouse and distribution functions. This individual will ensure efficient inventory management, cost-effective transportation, and alignment with safety and compliance standards. The role is critical to maintaining high service levels and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:

Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Inventory Control:

Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, shrinkage reduction, and data-driven stock level optimization. Support demand planning with reliable inventory data.

Distribution and Transportation:

Lead outbound logistics including route planning, carrier selection, and on-time delivery. Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service levels and customer satisfaction.

Process Optimization:

Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies. Drive lean initiatives and monitor KPIs to improve productivity, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Conduct regular audits and enforce corrective actions where needed.

Systems & Digital Transformation:

Leverage WMS, TMS, and ERP systems to improve inventory visibility, shipment tracking, and operational insights. Lead digital transformation efforts and ensure system adoption.

Team Leadership:

Manage and develop warehouse and logistics teams. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement through training, coaching, and performance management.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, including 7+ years in a leadership role Proven track record managing warehouse teams and logistics performance Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse layout, transport logistics, and safety protocols Hands-on experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems Experience in retail, manufacturing, or FMCG industries Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills Effective communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration Commitment to continuous improvement and safety culture
