For outgoing Employees and Volunteers, this position supervises, coordinates, manages, facilitates, and processes outgoing employees, physicians, residents, fellows, and volunteers who participate in Global Missions international projects; collaborates with executive leadership to develop and drive Global Missions’ processes and initiatives; leads in the development and management of international programs and activities from inception to completion in a selection of footprint locations; uses discretion and independent thinking to make sound decisions and judgments to meet goals and objectives; demonstrates interest and sensitivity in working with people from different religious and cultural backgrounds; and performs other duties as assigned.

- Serves as operational leader for Global Missions’ relationships with assigned “footprint” institutions ensuring that these relationships continue to grow and make progress towards strategic goals. Working in conjunction with the AdventHealth executive sponsors develops and executes the plans established with footprint relationships.
- Directs, supervises, manages, coordinates, facilitates, and processes outgoing employees, attending physicians, residents, fellows, and volunteers who participate in Global Missions’ international projects.
Oversees team responsible for volunteer trip management to ensure that trip requirements and details are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner, including coordinating trip objectives, passport and appropriate visa services, background checks, travel applications, airport transportation, travel and airline tickets, immunizations, local licensure requirements and country approval to provide clinical care, in-country accommodations, insurance and professional liability, and procuring and packing supplies and resources. Understands, monitors, and communicates visa requirements and restrictions, and travel warning and advisories related to working and traveling abroad.
- Works closely with project participants and overseas institutions to plan and coordinate the logistical support and work schedule planning necessary for program and project success; schedules meetings as appropriate across multiple time zones, communicating via email, text, telephone, and videoconference. Qualifications
- The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Non-profit Management, International Business, or Public Health Administration OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration, AND five (5) years experience in project management, Logistics Planning, Public Health Administration or International Relations.
- Current, valid State of Florida Class E driver’s license
- Valid U.
