Create an environment that empowers team members to deliver best in class results and Grow Guest Love. This position is fast paced and requires fostering connections with many areas of the Resorts to positively affect the performance of the team. This position will be partnering with other stakeholders on optimizing Group related content on both internal and external websites and platforms, review and enhance the team’s workflow, tasks and processes leveraging Salesforce, TSW, IHG Merlin, IHG GRS and other systems that deal with Customer Relation Management, Invoices and financial statements for payment, schedules of Rental Ops Coordinators, as well as take the lead on assigned projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Qualifying Incoming Group Leads and Prioritizing them with the Groups Coordinators, before submitting them to the Sales Managers for negotiation and contracting. Leading, Mentoring, Coaching, Scheduling and Training the Rental Ops coordinators to develop their skills to enable them to grow within their role and within the company while monitoring and enhancing the team’s KPI’s and individual performances as well as contributing to strategy calls. Leading assigned project related to content optimization, systems, tasks, workflow, proposals, contracts, forms, templates, and other group related collateral updates and enhancements.

Leadership responsibilities include:

Leading and mentoring Rental Ops Coordinators, time management, problem solving, ongoing evaluations and annual performance reviews, scheduling and PTO requests.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Marketing Preferred 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-3 years of supervisory and leadership experience in a Hotel and/or Group sales environment Minimum of 2 years of service in a Hotel or Resort environment preferred Previous Group Sales experience preferred Past leadership experience preferred Excellent communication skills including written communications, speaking and presentation development and delivery. Salesmanship mindset with strong business acumen Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines. Ability to work as a team and be part of a dynamic team environment Possesses strong organizational skills. Highly motivated who gets things done with minimal guidance. Must have desire to learn, and ability to master new systems and tools. Ability to work well with other team members and cross-functional teams.

Expert level experience required for:
