This position offers support in various capacities, including Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Agent, and administrative support. The role requires frequent travel to properties experiencing staff shortages or facing immediate operational needs.

Essential Responsibilities Property Management Support:
  • Serve as a temporary on-site Property Manager, Assistant Manager, or Leasing Agent as assigned.
  • Oversee property operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain property standards.
  • Provide hands-on support in resolving resident concerns, lease management, and rent collections.
  • Conduct inspections, coordinate maintenance, and ensure market-ready conditions of units.
  • Implement resident retention programs and maintain positive resident relations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Leasing and Marketing Support:
  • Actively engage in leasing activities, including property tours, lease execution, and move-in coordination.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and ensure compliance with fair housing laws.
  • Support the implementation of marketing and outreach strategies as needed.
Administrative and Compliance Support:
  • Conduct on-site audits and prepare for state or federal inspections, including file and document preparation.
  • Assist with processing applications, lease renewals, and income certifications (where applicable).
  • Support property staff with software usage, including Yardi and compliance tracking systems.
  • Assist with maintaining records and reports, including occupancy, delinquency, and budget tracking.
Training and Support:
  • Train and mentor on-site staff on TPI Management’s policies and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on customer service, resident relations, and compliance standards.
  • Act as a resource for new team members and assist in staff onboarding.
  • Training new team members for their new role (Real Page, Building Link, Grace Hill etc.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software. Proven ability to work independently and adapt to new property environments quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Ability to travel to various properties within the portfolio as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and conduct physical inspections. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. Compensation Salary based on experience. Schedule:
