We deliver experiences to consumers through our Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Lines, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business, as well as other initiatives such as Hey, Disney!
This role sits in the Supplier Partnerships & Ops Technology (SPOT Vendor Management) organization within DX Tech & Digital and as a Product Operations Manager, you will report into the Manager of SPOT Vendor Management Product.
The Supplier Partnerships & Ops Technology (SPOT Vendor Management) Product Operations Manager is responsible for helping design, deliver and execute 3rd party vendor solutions for the Disney Experiences (DX) Technology & Digital organization.
As a Product Operations Manager, you will collaborate with SPOT Vendor Management leadership, 3rd party vendors, and across functional teams to understand vendor needs, translate needs into strategic direction, and partner with teams to deliver solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing development of SPOT product enhancements that help optimize workflows and SPOT Vendor Management product efficiencies.
What You’ll Do:
Understand 3rd party vendor needs of DX Technology & Digital teams, translate needs into strategic direction and work with partners and teams to achieve.
Partners with the Product Manager to support the delivery of VEP ensuring the right features are delivered and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT)
Supports hypercare and SLAs after product delivery
Lead the end-to-end vendor need product lifecycle with external vendors, partners and clients in order to deliver business critical needs.
Partners with stakeholders to deliver and prioritize product features based on strategic roadmap.
Provide strategic guidance on vendor engagement, best practices, and governance.
Monitor and communicate vendor requests status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
Build relationships and collaborate with both internal and external partners including 3PO, Legal, Technology, and other business units to achieve shared goals
Oversee 3rd party vendor requests in ServiceNow platform from intake through closeout.
Identify, help solution, and test SPOT product enhancements
Mediate between technical teams and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver value-driven outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Experience in product operations with a strong emphasis on delivery.
Proven ability to align product delivery initiatives with overall business goals and overall organizational strategies.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of addressing complex challenges.
Excellent communication and persuasion skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment.
Extensive experience collaborating directly with senior executive leaders to achieve business objectives.
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, fostering strong partnerships across functions with high level of ownership and agency
Innovative and adaptable approach to addressing evolving business and technology needs.
Identify areas for growth and uncover opportunities to enhance existing products with focus on latest technology platforms and partnerships.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priority projects
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
