Palm Beach, FL Proficiency Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups. Area Manager shall possess demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on water and wastewater treatment facilities and/or regulatory compliance problem solving. Experience managing large territories and state-of-the-art facilities. Preferably the Area Manager to have a current FDEP Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator Certifications or Civil/Environmental/Sanitary Engineering Degree.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing support to the Regional Operations Manager in routine operations and maintenance throughout the area. This position professionally represents the Company’s (USWSC) and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to assist in applying the services to their assigned facilities resulting in professionally managed operation and maintenance functions.

East Coast of Florida Essential Functions:
Visit/inspect each Facility on a regular basis. Meet with customer as requested by the operations manager Be responsible for managing the day-to-day professional operation and maintenance activities of all assigned facilities. Be responsible for determining required work, developing and delivering work authorization proposals, as well as follow-up with workflow, work progress reporting, and billing (where applicable). Be responsible for and assisting with Environmental Compliance. Be responsible for assisting with Environmental Compliance Reporting. Aid and assist with Regulatory Agency matters, such as but not limited to; compliance, reporting, meetings, and plans. Shall assist with the development and implementation of an Asset Management Program. Shall be responsible for operator training, if licensed. Support the Regional Operations Manager with safety audits/inspections, trainings, etc. Be responsible for recommending and implementing Cost Savings Measures. Act as the liaison for all other available job for all U.S. Water Services Corporation (USWSC) support activities. (i.e. may coordinate maintenance issues). Shall be responsible for supervising of all assigned operator’s, scheduling operators and maybe required to fill in case of emergency, time off, or illness as required. Shall ensure that the staff adheres to company policies and procedures. Shall be responsible to professionally perform all other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
