OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The Director of Operations ensures that construction projects are completed efficiently and effectively, while also driving the company’s strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 10 years in construction management, with significant experience in business development

SKILLS:

 Strong leadership and team management abilities  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Proficiency in project management software and tools (Builder Trend specifically)  Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that balance operational efficiency with business growth

DUTIES:

 Lead, coach and motivate the team to ensure optimal performance and morale  Participate in hiring and training team members  Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary action as needed  Overseeing the daily functions of the company  Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve day-to-day operations  Develop, implement and enhance systems, processes, and policies in alignment with our vision  Creating a budget, tracking expenses, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures as needed  Creating and implementing short and long-term strategies  Conduct regular site inspections to enforce adherence to our workmanship, safety, and cleanliness standards  Ensure projects are executed efficiently, to our quality control standards, and within budget  Coordinating with supers and project managers/coordinators, and subs to maintain accurate schedules  Maintaining continuous client communications to keep them informed of project progress  Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and presentations to prospective clients  Coordinate with architects/engineers, designers, vendors, and subcontractors as needed

COMPENSATION

 $175,000 annual salary to start with a 90-day probationary period. $200,000 annual salary after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.  Performance bonuses and eventual profit-sharing and potential succession possibilities  Healthcare and additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process  Gas card
