As we expand into broader wellness services and insurance-based care, we are seeking an experienced and execution-driven Director of Operations to lead operational excellence, optimize internal systems, and help scale the organization to its next level of success. Position Overview The Director of Operations will oversee and strengthen all daily business functions, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high standards of performance across the organization. This role requires a proven operator who can bring structure and scalability to a high-performing, fast-paced environment. The Director will drive operational strategy, manage cross-functional execution, and build the systems needed to support MMJ Health’s long-term growth—while maintaining a strong patient-focused culture. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership
• Lead and manage daily operations across multiple clinic locations, ensuring optimal workflows, staffing, patient services, and internal coordination.
• Strategic Process Development
• Design, document, and implement scalable operating procedures that support sustainable growth and operational consistency.
• Performance Management & Metrics
• Establish and track KPIs for operational efficiency, patient experience, team productivity, and financial performance. Proactively identify and address areas for improvement.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Mentor and develop a high-performing operations team, providing leadership, accountability, and professional growth opportunities across all levels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work across key functional areas including clinical services, finance, compliance, HR, and technology to ensure operational alignment and support. Where dedicated resources do not yet exist, develop scalable, cost-effective solutions to strengthen these functions as the organization grows.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations (including HIPAA and Florida medical cannabis laws). Develop and enforce policies that mitigate risk and support licensing, certifications, and patient record security.
• Technology, Automation & Systems Optimization
• Identify and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, patient experience, and internal workflows. Leverage automation, telemedicine platforms, patient management systems, and process optimization tools to reduce manual workload and improve scalability.
• Project Management & Execution
• Lead the execution of new initiatives, including service expansions, marketing campaigns, technology integrations, and new clinic openings, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and aligned with business objectives. Candidate Qualifications Minimum
• 15+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years in a senior operational leadership role
• Experience in healthcare, wellness, or regulated industries
• Strong organizational design and process improvement skills
• Strong financial acumen (able to track KPIs, manage budgets, and impact profitability)
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with short-term tactical execution
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills

• Experience in founder-led or entrepreneurial organizations Preferred
• Experience managing multi-location operations
