Store Director of Operations The Store Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a complex, multi-department store. Working closely with senior leadership, this role involves planning and executing strategies to drive sales, enhance profitability, and ensure a positive experience for both customers and team members.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with corporate and senior leadership to understand organizational strategy and adapt it to the store’s context Directs store strategy and manages day-to-day operations, ensuring standards are consistently met in customer service, financial performance, process efficiency, and health and safety Oversees labor management, cost control, inventory, compliance, pricing, and merchandising Fosters interdepartmental collaboration through regular communication with department leaders Acts as the primary decision-maker for resolving store-related challenges Motivates and develops the team by setting clear expectations and leading by example Partners with HR on talent management including recruitment, performance reviews, and employee transitions Represents the store in the local community and ensures a welcoming environment for customers Performs other duties as assigned
