℠, by applying to become a Operations Director at our Dade City location. SUMMARY Direct and manage all operations on the shift with overall responsibilities for production, employee safety, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities. Reports to the Plant Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct and manage plant operations for production, employee safety maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving. Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure that all manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely manner. Promotes safety culture on the shift. Knows or can learn to control budget through active planning and understanding of the plant P&L. Establish and monitor overall shift performance for production and quality standards. Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. Provides direction, development and leadership to all supervision and Team Leads on the shift. SAFETY Wears all required PPE while in the manufacturing facility Monitors the activities of all employees and provides feedback and discipline to promote a safe workplace. Engages employees in seeking potential safety improvements. Participates in Safety Committee activities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise all production and shipping supervisors and team lead personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanically Inclined. Problem Solver Team Oriented. Manufacturing Supervisory Experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in related field or five years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals. Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer and caliper accurately.
