Event Venue Manager Office Management Services Saint Petersburg, FL 33701 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Venue Manager to oversee the operations of our premier event space. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, coordinating events, and providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. A General Manager for an event venue is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and success of the venue. They oversee staff, manage finances, coordinate events, and ensure a positive experience for clients and attendees. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Duties Supervise daily operations of the venue, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards. Manage staff schedules and shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage during events. Coordinate with clients to plan and execute events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. Oversee guest services, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to enhance the customer experience. Collaborate with catering, audiovisual, and other service providers to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for events. Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Lead training sessions for new employees on hospitality standards and venue policies. Manage finances and payroll for venue Qualifications Proven experience in event management or a related field such as hospitality or restaurant management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest services. Experience in supervising staff and managing shifts effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
