Operations Manager for Assisted Living Arlington Gardens Assisted Living Facility – 1.0 Pinellas Park, FL Job Details Full-time From $5,000 a month 20 hours ago Qualifications Resident’s rights Mid-level Analysis skills 1 year Full Job Description The Assisted living administrator will: Manage, outline and coordinate services geared toward older adults who may require assistance with eating, bathing, taking medication and other basic functions Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assisted living facility and ensure appropriate development of niche programming that reflects and meets the needs of residents and that all staff are providing excellent customer service Demonstrate independent judgment and discretion to support the risk management processes and quality assurance initiatives for best care practices in assisted Living and to ensure safety of residents, visitors, and staff regarding Infection Control, Fire and Safety, security, transportation and environmental policies and procedures Maintain current knowledge of State Regulations and conduct routine inspections of services being provided to ensure highest quality compliance in all surveys conducted by licensing authority Play an active role in the hiring process; ensure training program is in place and include compliance and understanding of regulations regarding residents’ rights; supervise and assignment of overall duties with full accountability for employee performance Evaluate staff performance and responsible for tracking attendance and effectively communicate and enforce policies and procedures. Draft disciplinary actions for review and effectively recommend corrective and disciplinary action to enforce such policies Possess adequate financial and analytical skills to pursue the most cost-effective strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals for assisted living. Adjust staffing levels based upon fluctuating occupancy and level of care Perform internal and external relationship-building/partnering with referral sources to promote occupancy and revenue growth through effective, planned events with community at large, residents and families Must have completed the
