(104) Operations Manager – Industrial Vegetation Management 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Bartow, FL 33830 SUMMARY The Operations Manager is responsible for all markets in their territory that are tied to revenue. Markets may include IWC, turf, roadside, stormwater maintenance, aquatics, eco services, SRVM, and mechanical cutting. An office must have $2,000,000 in revenue for a position to be available.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES

High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of management experience or leading teams Strong in decision making and problem solving In-depth knowledge of the industry Team player with a growth mindset Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card required A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to drive company vehicles required Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, by ground or air, including overnight travel required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, move, and pull objects weighing up to 75 pounds Must have the ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces Must have the ability to withstand exposure to various weather conditions while completing work assignments (rain, heat, humidity, sun, etc.)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Exemplify our five core values (Safety, Others, Integrity, Initiative, and Passion) Review application reports and submit for invoicing in a timely manner Update revenue tracker and revenue stream weekly Schedule and route jobs Build calendar for work group 30 days in advance Perform assessments for team members Update scorecard Review and approve expenses for team members Review and approve timesheets for team members Review tailgate briefing meetings Review Samsara videos Review jobs for external associated costs and communicate to sales Manage and track licenses, medical cards, and other certifications for team members Attend weekly safety meetings, and lead, as needed Review and approve field work orders (FWO’s) Implement kickoff meetings and a tracking system for large projects Communicate with sales on market needs Make follow-up calls to customers regarding quality and invoicing Assist with the health and maintenance of the fleet Manage the maintenance of the office and facilities Conduct quality control inspections of customer sites Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions, when needed Perform administrative, human resources, payroll, and accounting responsibilities to support department’s operations Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction Maintain a safety culture and compliance and stay up to date on OHSA, DOT, and other applicable rules and regulations Provide effective performance feedback through recognition, rewards, performance reviews, and disciplinary action Build and maintain a strong team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, and team building Encourage and provide career development planning and opportunities to team members Build future leaders through mentoring and succession planning Establish and maintain a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and communication Respond to employee concerns in a timely manner Understand and enforce all company policies, including safety, human resources, and accounting policies Perform other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
