Field Service Supervisor Valve & Actuation Services Llc Mulberry, FL Position Summary:
The Field Service Supervisor leads field service jobs by managing job site execution, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards. This role acts as a liaison between field crews, management, and customers to ensure that valve and actuator projects are completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise field service technicians for on-site valve and actuator service work. Ensure that all field work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Communicate with customers before, during, and after jobs to manage expectations and resolve issues. Review and approve field service reports, time sheets, and parts usage for accuracy and completeness. Assist in training and development of field personnel to enhance technical capabilities and safety awareness. Enter all value and/or actuation data into ValvKeep per company standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred. 5+ years of experience in valve and actuator service, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of valve types (control, relief, gate, globe, ball, butterfly) and actuator systems. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor field teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, LOTO, confined space) and industry specifications (API, ANSI, ASME). Ability to travel to job sites, including overnight stays and weekend work as needed. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
